Science and influence of social connection on resiliency and well-being

With Dr. Elisha Goldstein

Description:

There’s a major dissonance happening right now in the mental health field. Opportunities to access teachings, tools and experiences has never been greater. We have numerous “evidence-based” programs available, many of which lay out a simple intervention, but the statistics show that stress, anxiety and depression are dramatically increasing.

We’re missing something.

If we look at some of the most successful organizations ever, organized religion, the military, or alcoholics anonymous we see a similar theme. They all make community a cornerstone focus. Why? Because knowing you’re a part of something, that sense of connection and belonging, helps us feel safe. On its own, it’s healing. On top of that, the latest science shows that we operate off invisible influences of energy and information flowing that impact what we think, how we feel and what we do.

Dr. Elisha Goldstein will reveal the science behind why connection is essential to catalyze healing, the major obstacles to healing and thriving that everyone is up against, and how to organize these social influences in our favor for greater well-being and resiliency.

This webinar is designed to meet the continuing education needs of Psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, & LEPs and other mental health professionals.
